Seriously, why buy this game for a 12 year old? its a very good and nice game, if you are mature enough to play it.
And like i said, everything here is depicted in quite a realistic manner, not in comic book style like some god of war (ps4) or borderlands (x360) the series with its complex story is not meant for kids anyways, anyone under 15 won't probably enjoy it as much as if you'd play it when you are older. Ehh, no the game is not okay for kids - its a semi-realistic war game with in my opinion very good and realistic graphics, it contains very graphical violence, and * SPOILER * at one point you are forced to shoot a lot of your own men, there are also scenes that involve some sort of torture.
